Rolex Submariner Date 126610LN Black Dial on Stainless Steel 2020
Description
The 126610LN marks the most consequential revision to the Submariner Date in nearly two decades. Introduced in 2020, it brought the case to 41mm, widened the lugs, and moved to the caliber 3235 — Rolex's in-house movement featuring a Chronergy escapement and a 70-hour power reserve, a meaningful step forward from the 3135 it replaced. The ceramic Cerachrom bezel, introduced to the Submariner line with the 116610LN in 2010, carries over here in its definitive form: dimensionally correct for the larger case, with the minute track sitting in proper proportion to the dial.
This example is configured in black dial and stainless steel — the configuration that defined the Submariner from the beginning, and the one against which every other variant is measured. The all-black reading, bezel and dial unified, gives the watch a coherence that the two-tone and white-gold references, however accomplished, don't quite achieve. In hand, the dial has a depth that photographs consistently flatten; the applied indices catch light at angles the camera misses entirely. Offered from 2020 with papers, this example presents in very good condition throughout — case, bracelet, bezel, and crystal all showing only light signs of wear consistent with careful use.
In very good condition, offered as a full set with box and papers dated 2020.
