Harry Winston Premier Excenter Chronograph 200/MCRA39WL.MD/D3.1 Mother of Pearl Dial on Leather 2020
Description
The Premier Excenter Chronograph is among the most architecturally distinctive pieces Harry Winston produced in the 2000s — a direct expression of the maison's jeweler-first sensibility applied to serious horology. The reference 200/MCRA39WL.MD/D3.1 houses an automatic triple retrograde chronograph movement, a complication in which each elapsed-time hand sweeps an arc and snaps back to zero rather than completing a full rotation. That mechanism demands a decentered dial layout — the excenter construction that gives the series its name — and Harry Winston used that asymmetry as a design argument rather than a concession. The 39mm case is 18K white gold throughout, the bezel set with 54 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 4.75 carats, and the sapphire display caseback exposes the movement from the reverse.
The mother-of-pearl dial is the configuration that rewards the most attention. Against a plain white or lacquered alternative, mother of pearl shifts — cool to warm, flat to dimensional — depending on the angle and the quality of the light, and no photograph has yet captured what it does in a room. The 18K solid gold fold clasp and original leather strap are present, as are all original Harry Winston factory diamonds. This is the full jeweled expression of the reference, not a stripped-down variant.
Offered in very good condition with hardly visible signs of wear throughout, as a full set with original Harry Winston box and papers dated 2020. Service scheduled March 2026.
