Cartier Panthere De Cartier Small WGPN0059 Silver Bracelet
Description
The Panthère de Cartier is the house's most architecturally resolved bracelet watch — a design that arrived in 1983 and immediately established a different grammar for how a case and bracelet could relate to each other. The small reference WGPN0059 continues that lineage in 18-karat yellow gold, with the rectangular 23x30mm case sitting flush into a supple integrated bracelet so that the two read as a single object rather than a watch on a strap. The quartz movement keeps the 6.05mm profile genuinely thin, which is the point: the Panthère was never about mechanical exhibition, it was about the object itself. Roman numerals on a silver dial, a sapphire crystal, and the fixed bezel with its characteristic panther-spot link pattern complete a composition that has changed very little because it needed to.
Yellow gold is the correct metal for this reference — white gold flattens the warmth that the Panthère's sculptural links were designed to carry. In direct light the bracelet develops a depth that photographs consistently understate, the individual links catching and releasing at slightly different angles as the wrist moves. This example presents in like new condition across case, crystal, bezel, bracelet, and dial, with a service date on record through October 2026.
Offered as a full set with original Cartier box and warranty card.
